CAN YOU FIND THE HIDDEN ART?

SEEING MONEY—ART IS EVERYWHERE.

LOOK AROUND!

The clues
Been to a bookstore lately?
If you were to go to a grocery store for a work of art, where do you think you'd find it?
Does art belong in an elevator?
Does art belong in restaurants?
If we put it here, will anyone notice?
For some, life begins after 18.
If you try to see it, you will.
Men usually sit on it.
Women usually hang it on their shoulders.
If you didn't see it today, either you weren't looking hard enough, or you were looking TOO hard!

As part of the Seeing Money art exhibition, a number of works of art will be placed outside the gallery. Some will be 'hidden', and some will be displayed in plain view. Anyone 'discovering' them will be entitled to become the proud new owner, and may come into the show to receive a certificate of authenticity and a bill of sale marked 'paid in full' without parting with a single penny!

The value of the individual works of art range from $100.oo to $12,500.oo!

Works by the following artists will be placed around Portland during the month of May:

jsg boggs, Andy Bush, Walter Robinson,
Harry Eccleston, Hank Hinton, Malik Johnson,
Nurit Newman, Caroline Sykora, David Williams, Elizabeth R. and David Greg Harth
